Here are some of the items that will be 15% off, or more!
It was a cold and rainy night in Ocean City, they decided to have their Halloween parade anyway, and we were there to capture all it's highlights, so you didn't have to leave your nice warm house.
For Friday, October 26th only, we will be staying open until 7pm, on account of the Halloween Parade in Ocean City. Not only will be staying open later, but we will also be having a 15% off sale on ALL Obey items, excluding the ones presently on sale. Just a little Halloween treat for you all.
Carol and I have decided each week to entertain you with one of our music picks. It's either something we love or can't stop listening to or a "plethora" of other random things.
A band that I really started to get into a few years ago was BJM or Brian Jonestown Massacre. They are the throwback band to end all throwback bands in my lofty opinion. Formed in the early 90's they are an amazing conglomeration of psychedelic rock and erratic behaviour. It is no small feat that in a decade they have independently released 11 albums, 3 of those recorded in one year. It's difficult to keep up with the constantly changing members however due mostly to ecclectic leader of the pack and only forever member, Anton Newcombe. There are very few people I would slap with a genius label but he my friends is one of those few, he's insane (in an awesomely good and inspiring way). The band was documented in a Sundance grand jury winning film called Dig!, you should see it, it will change your life. Several members have left BJM to join other bands such as Black Rebel Motorcycle Club, The Warlocks, and Dead Meadow...there have been about a dozen different members at least. Anyway you should check them out. Anton never lets you down.

My band of the week is a band called "Logs". They hail from Olympia.Washington and is comprised of members of the band KidCrash. You'll probably see a lot more posts of bands like this from me. If you would like to buy their album, there are still a few pressings of it and you can get them from their record label.I know what you are all thinking...."Why would you post a band on here if we can't buy it from you". The answer is simple. We want you to support independent artists. Some of the smaller bands don't have as big of a distribution, or they make things so limited it's hard for us to get our hands on.
Anyways, check them out, hopefully you like them as much as I do.
We here at Toilet Water absolutely love the band Spoon, if you didn't get a chance to catch them on SNL this weekend, fear not! We've got the video for you!
Hey guys, We wanna let you know that from now on, if you show your student ID, you will be given 10% off anything in the store (yes, even CDS and Records, which we normally do not give discounts on, WILL be discounted if you are a student. We here at Toilet Water know how draining school is on your bank account, so we wanted to do something to let you know we care. M'hm, Carol
This weekend (Saturday) was the Block Party weekend in Ocean City, and although it was terribly hard to find a parking spot, let alone walk on the street of Asbury, it was a great day. It was beautiful, sunny, and everyone was super nice. Thanks to all of you who came out and got some great sale prices.
If you didn't get a chance to come out Saturday, we're extending our sale until Tuesday. We've got clothes on sale, all our Nightmare Before Christmas stuff, and a shitload of other goodies.
Here are a couple pictures of the block party (right outside our door)
Also, for those of you who didn't know, we started carrying a company called Rockett Clothing, and it's kickass!!
We are so extremely excited about this clothing company, and Blood is the New Black. Vive art!
For those of you who love Dr. Seuss, we also have some great new Seuss stuff!
It's October, a new month, our favorite holiday month! We're looking forward to many a cheesy horror movie on cable TV, eating too much candy, and indulging on candy apples and razorblades.
Every week, to encourage you to hear new music, we'll give you a free download from each new release. So, this week, we're giving you a free Anti-Flag song, aaaaand a free Wilhelm Scream song (you can pick up their new album "Career Suicide" next Tuesday) . Enjoy kids.
