What's the best thing you can do for the holidays?

DONATE

GOODSEARCH

"What if [my charity] earned a penny every time you searched the Internet? Or how about if a percentage of every purchase you made online went to support our cause? Well, now it can!
GoodSearch.com is a new Yahoo-powered search engine that donates half its advertising revenue, about a penny per search, to the charities its users designate. Use it just as you would any search engine, get quality search results from Yahoo, and watch the donations add up!
GoodShop.com is a new online shopping mall which donates up to 37 percent of each purchase to your favorite cause! Hundreds of great stores including Target, Gap, Best Buy, ebay, Macy's and Barnes & Noble have teamed up with GoodShop and every time you place an order, you’ll be supporting your favorite cause.
Just go to www.goodsearch.com and be sure to enter [my charity] as the charity you want to support. And, be sure to spread the word!"
GOODSEARCH.COM

You can search charities, and specifically ones in NJ, PA, NY, or any other state you may live in.

All of the items donate benefit the Atlantic City Rescue Mission. We decided to donate here, because in the past we've donated winter jackets to the shelter. Seeing everyone so gracious that we donated something to keep people warm in the winter was all it took for us to want to do it again. This time, we wanted to ask you to help us as well.

"This limited edition cotton tee is the result of a partnership between OBEY mastermind Shepard Fairey and the Global Grassroots HOPE (Helping Other People Everywhere) campaign, which works to empower people, encouraging involvement with humanitarian issues through music, art and action. Featuring artwork by Fairey and based on the Brian Steidle photograph "Girl and Brother," this garment is designed to raise both money and awareness in an effort to stop genocide in Darfur"

You go girl

Thank you to the talented artist Jennifer Jackson from Ocean City High School who made this wonderful piece of artwork to go on top of our parking meters.

WE LOVE IT!
